Who Are We?

Consultant Clinical Psychologist

Location: Bath

Meyrem is a highly qualified clinical psychologist with nearly 30 years of practice experience. She is registered with the HCPC and the BPS. She is an accredited CBT therapist, and formally trained in EMDR and DBT approaches, alongside her practice in other therapeutic modalities (i.e, Schema and Compassion Focused Therapies). She specialises in working with adults and young people presenting a wide range of clinical problems. She also has the expertise to work with couples, families and carers using systemic approaches. 

Meyrem has worked across a range of settings including the NHS (i.e., GP surgeries and psychiatric hospitals), private sector and residential services. She has also worked on university clinical depression trials.

 She is experienced in providing expert witness reports and testimony to assist the courts . Her previous experience in forensic services working with adults presenting severe mental health problems and legal issues have equipped her well for working with complex cases.

She is experienced in providing specialist supervision, consultation, support and training to professionals, teams and services. 

She is a registered practitioner with mainstream health insurance providers.

Dr Meyrem Musa

Lucy is a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist with more than 25 years of practice across the NHS and the independent sector. She has extensive experience working with individuals across the lifespan—from childhood through to later life—supporting people facing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.

Her specialist interests include adjustment to life changes, grief and bereavement, trauma, the psychological impact of physical health conditions, and women’s health. Lucy also works with couples, families, and organisations, helping people navigate complex life experiences while maintaining wellbeing and resilience.

Alongside her clinical work, Lucy has spent many years supporting professionals and teams within health and social care settings. She provides specialist supervision, staff support, consultation, and training designed to strengthen staff wellbeing, resilience, and reflective practice within demanding roles.

Lucy’s work is grounded in evidence-based research, thoughtful psychological formulation, and a strong commitment to compassionate, person-centred care. She is trained in EMDR and integrates a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), mindfulness, and systemic therapy.

She is known for her warm, thoughtful, and collaborative style, and believes that a secure therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful and lasting change.

Dr Lucy Davis

Clinical Psychologist

Marianne is a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist working with adults in the West of Bristol. She is experienced in treating a wide range of mental health conditions and presentations, including trauma, anxiety disorders, depression and the interaction of these with neurodiversity. She has particular interests in relationships and attachment difficulties, non-finite loss and grief.

Marianne has worked in mental health for 20 years, qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist in 2012. She has worked in various adults and children’s NHS services prior to private work, including palliative care and hospital services. She is trained in a range of therapies and can tailor the most appropriate to suit you, including CBT (including CBT for trauma), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness.

She accepts health insurance, including BUPA and WPA.

Our Services

  • At the first meeting we aim to develop a shared understanding of your difficulties and treatment plan. The assessment session may serve as a stand alone appointment or the start of your therapeutic treatment. If at the outcome of the assessment we feel it is more appropriate, we can signpost you to other services, collaborate with other professionals or make recommendations.

  • Drawing from the scientific evidence base, we offer a recommended number of sessions, available online or in person at a choice of therapy base in Bath or Bristol. The work could involve individual work with children, young adults, couples or families.

    Between us we provide a range of different approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, EMDR, systemic therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT), Mindfulness, behavioural approaches and more.

  • We are available to offer clinical supervision to Psychologists and other health professionals for adult, child and family work. We have extensive experience of providing supervision within NHS and private health care teams.


  • We offer parent consultation or can work with schools, businesses and other health professionals to tailor a package of teaching, training or consultation. We are flexible and creative and have a wealth of experience in the team, so please get in touch to discuss what you need.

Fees

Self Funding: You will be given specific details about fees and cost by the psychologist assigned to you.

Health Insurance: We are registered with most major private health insurance providers.  Please check with your health insurer regarding, coverage, referral requirements and to obtain a pre-authorisation code.

Consultation to Professionals: We also offer consultation, supervision and reflective practice.  Fees are dependent on individual/team requirements.
